Wildcats to Take Part in KU Invitational

MANHATTAN, Kan. Kansas State women’s tennis will be in action for the second time this fall, as the Wildcats travel to Lawrence, Kan., for the KU Invitational this weekend. Teams the Wildcats will be competing against this weekend include: Kansas, Air Force, UMKC, Wichita State, Arkansas State, Nebraska and Iowa State.


The Wildcats opened their fall schedule at the Razorback Classic, Sept. 12-14. K-State came away with a 6-12 team singles record, as junior Natasha Vieira and sophomore Antea Huljev each finished with a 2-1 mark.


K-State tallied a 2-6 team mark in doubles action at the Razorback Classic, as freshman Petra Chuda figured into both victories.


Following this weekend, K-State will take to the courts again on Oct. 3-5 at the Hoosier Classic in Bloomington, Ind.
