Miscellaneous Notes
• The Wildcats have won 11 consecutive matches to open the season, extending the best start to a season in school history… 9 of those wins are in 3-0 sweeps, K-State had 7 3-0 wins all of last season.
• Thursday’s contest was the 18th meeting between K-State and Tulsa… K-State
is now 3-15 against the Golden Gophers and 19-116-1 against current members of the Big Ten Conference… Head Coach Suzie Fritz is 7-27 against Big Ten teams
• The Wildcats’ starting lineup Saturday night consisted of senior setter  Caitlyn Donahue,
junior defensive specialist Tristan McCarty,  senior opposite Kathleen Ludwig,  junior outside hitter Lilla Porubek,  junior middle blocker Kaitlynn Pelger, junior outside hitter Dakota Kaufman and senior libero Kuulei Kabalis… This is the third time K-State has used this line-up this season… K-State is 3-0 with this starting lineup.

Team Notes
• K-State hit .192 percent for the match (56-28-146)… This is the first match this season K-State has been held under .200 hitting as a team.
• K-State is ranked No. 19 in the AVCA Preseason Coaches Poll… The Wildcats are now 208-90 (.698) when playing as a ranked team.
• The win over No. 10 Minnesota is the 6th all-time for K-State against an opponent ranked in the Top 10 of the AVCA Top 25 Coaches Poll… 2 of those wins have come in the last 11 months with a win over No. 2 Nebraska in the second round of last season’s NCAA Tournament.
• The Wildcats hit .818 (9-0-11) in the fifth set.
• Minnesota’s win in the first set snapped K-State’s school record streak of 23 consecutive sets won… The Wildcats had not lost a set since the third set against Oregon State in the third match of the season.

Individual Notes
Kathleen Ludwig tallied 16 kills on .324 hitting for a new season-high… She was just 2 kills shy of her career best, which she set in her career debut against then-No. 11 Minnesota in 2009 at the Runza/AVCA Showcase.
Kaitlynn Pelger had 16 kills on .278 hitting along with 9 digs, 5 blocks and 3 aces
Caitlyn Donahue posted her third double-double on the year with 49 assists and 10 digs… Her 10 digs led the team… She also added 2 blocks and 2 kills… It was her 29th career double-double.
