Wildcat Volleyball Camp Dates Announced for Summer

MANHATTAN, Kan. - K-State volleyball head coach Suzie Fritz has announced upcoming summer dates for this year's Wildcat Volleyball Camps held in Manhattan.

There will be two Junior Wildcat Clinics for grades kindergarten through fifth (as of fall 2015), with the first date set for Saturday, May 2 followed by the second edition on Friday, July 10. There will be three hours of instruction on each camp day in passing, setting, serving and digging as well as limited instruction in attacking and blocking.

An All Skills Camp for grades 6-12 and Elite Camp for grades 9-12 will be held twice, one from June 11-13 and the other July 10-12. These camps offer comprehensive instruction for athletes of all ability levels, specialized position sessions and tournament play. Both All Skills and Elite Camps have the option for participants to stay as a Resident in a Kansas State dormitory for two nights with fellow campers or commute daily.

The annual Team Camp, open to all junior high, high school and club squads, will be held from July 9-10 at the Kansas State Rec Center. Teams will have personal training sessions with K-State coaches as well as compete in tournament-play format. In addition to the instruction with the athletes, team coaches will take part in sessions with the K-State coaching staff. Enrollment for the Team Camp is limited to 12 teams.

The Team Camp does not overlap with the All Skills and Elite Camps in July, meaning participants can register for both.

Advance registration and payment is required. Camp participants can register and find more information at www.wildcatvolleyballcamps.com.

Wildcat Volleyball Camps are a privately-owned enterprise and is not sponsored or a part of Kansas State University.
