Season Tickets On Sale Starting April 13

MANHATTAN, Kan. -- With the 2015 campaign just more than four months away, K-State volleyball season tickets for an exciting slate of home matches in Ahearn Field House are set to go on sale starting Monday, April 13, K-State Athletics officials have announced.

Season ticket prices remain unchanged from a year ago, with packages starting as low as $3 per match. In addition to reserved seating, season ticket holders receive exclusive benefits, such as an invitation to the season ticket holder appreciation event and participation in the roll-over ticket program, which allows fans to redeem unused tickets for general admission seats to future matches.

Chairback season tickets, located behind the team benches on the south side of Ahearn Field House, are $100 each and exclusively available to Ahearn Fund members. The chairback season tickets are expected to sell out for the fifth straight year, so interested fans who are not already members of the Ahearn Fund are encouraged to join for as little as $50. Prospective Ahearn Fund members can call (888) 232-9074 or visit www.ahearnfund.com for more information regarding member benefits.

Other seating options include General Admission Bench, which are $50 for adults and $40 for youth, senior citizen, military and Kansas State University faculty. Fans can upgrade to Cat Cushions in the Reserved South Balcony for an additional $15 per ticket.

For families, K-State fans can take advantage of the Wildcat 4 Packs, which include four General Admission Bench tickets to each home match for $120.

There are two important deadlines for season ticket holders, with the first being the Early Bird Deadline on May 29. For all fans that order by this date, the $10 processing fee will be waived as well as receive a free "Point Cats!" handheld motorized fan. Also, Early Bird purchases will be entered into a random drawing to win prizes such as an autographed team poster or volleyball, a Nike backpack, two tickets to the road match at KU on September 23, two chairback tickets to the home match vs. the Jayhawks on November 25, and one of two $20 concession vouchers to any home match.

Fans who purchase by the Priority Seating Deadline on June 30 will receive first priority for requested seats, based on athletic department priority point order.

Season tickets will be available for purchase by clicking here, calling the K-State Athletics Ticket Office at 1-800-221-CATS (2287), or stopping by in-person at the Bramlage Coliseum ticket office from 8:30 a.m.-5:30 p.m. Monday through Friday.

K-State has consistently been among the nation's leaders in attendance, ranking 16th last year in average attendance with 2,366 fans per match. On October 18, 2014, K-State played against No. 2 Texas in front of 3,927 fans, the 13th-highest attended match in Wildcat history.

The Wildcats return 10 letterwinners from last year's squad that finished 22-9, including AVCA All-America Honorable Mentions and All-Big 12 selections, redshirt junior Katie Brand and sophomore Kylee Zumach. Other standout returners include junior libero Kersten Kober, redshirt junior middle blocker Katie Reininger, junior outside hitter Brooke Sassin and redshirt junior defensive specialist Sheridan Zarda, all four of which played in at least 30 of K-State's 31 matches a year ago.

Head Coach Suzie Fritz, K-State's winningest head coach, will enter her 15th season at the helm of the Wildcats and 18th season overall with the program. The two-time Big 12 Coach of the Year has led the Wildcats to nine NCAA Tournament appearances and 278 wins since 2001.
