MANHATTAN, Kan. – Season tickets for Kansas State Volleyball, which is coming off two straight NCAA Tournament appearances, will go on sale Monday. Last season, Wildcat fans packed Ahearn Field House to rank No. 20 in attendance nationally.

Athletics officials announced on Friday that season tickets will go on sale Monday for the 2013 season that will include 13 home matches at Ahearn Field House.

This year’s Reserved Chairback season tickets have an incentive based price with fans receiving a discount based on how many games they attend. Reserved Chairback seating starts at $100 per ticket with the potential for the price to fall to as low as $85 if fans attend all 13 home matches. Discounts will be made via a reimbursement check following the season. The Reserved Chairbacks are available exclusively to Ahearn Fund members. Fans can join the Ahearn Fund for as little as $50.

General Admission balcony seating is $50 for adults and $40 for youth, senior citizen, K-State faculty and staff and military. For just $15 those seats can be upgraded to a Cat Cushion. The Cat Cushion seating will be available on the east and west ends of the south balcony for the 2013 season. Fans can again purchase a Wildcat 4 Pack for $120, which includes four General Admission bench tickets to every home match, a cost of only $2.31 per ticket.

Season tickets are available by calling the ticket office at 800-221-CATS, online at kstatesports.com/tickets or in person at the Bramlage Coliseum Ticket Office between 8:30 a.m. and 5:30 p.m. Monday through Friday.

K-State averaged 1,823 fans per match in 2012 and ranked 20th in the nation in attendance thanks to loyal Wildcat fans. The Wildcats went 12-3 in home matches last year and return a core group of players from the 2011 and 2012 NCAA Tournament teams. Last season, fans packed the stands with more than 2,500 in attendance three times.

“We are very fortunate to enjoy tremendous fan and community support for volleyball here at K-State, and have had the good fortune to in the Top 25 in attendance each of the last three years because of it,” said head coach Suzie Fritz. “Ahearn Field House is one of the best volleyball atmospheres in the nation each year because of the support of our fans, our students and our community. We believe our 2013 team will be a team the K-State family will be proud to support.”

Season ticket holders will receive several exclusive benefits this season; an invitation to a season ticket holder appreciation event and participation in the roll-over ticket program which allows fans to redeem unused game tickets for general admission seats to future matches.

K-State is also offering an Early Bird Special for fans who purchase season tickets by May 31. Fans who renew online by May 31 will receive a $10 savings from the order processing fee. Early Birds will also be entered into drawings to win a number of prizes including an autographed volleyball, framed team poster, official K-State Nike apparel and more.

The season ticket priority renewal deadline is July 1. New season ticket holders are encouraged to purchase early, however, Reserved Chairback availability will not be determined until after the priority deadline. Fans interested in purchasing chairback seats should reserve a Cat Cushion or General Admission season ticket and note a request to upgrade. Upgrade requests will be processed in athletic department priority point order, which accumulates points for Ahearn Fund membership donations and season ticket purchases, following the July 1 deadline.

K-State volleyball opens its home schedule at noon on September 6 against Southeast Missouri State when the Wildcats host their annual tournament. The Wildcats will have five home matches against teams that reached the 2012 NCAA Tournament. K-State will host Tulsa on September 10, and four tournament teams from the Big 12 Conference will journey to Manhattan, including defending national champion Texas.
