K-State Volleyball to Host Scrimmage

MANHATTAN, Kan. The Kansas State volleyball team will close out its spring workouts with a scrimmage against Missouri State on Thursday in Ahearn Field House. The Wildcats will play host to the defending Missouri Valley Conference champions for a five-set match at approximately 3:30 p.m. Thursday.


The match will be played on center court at Ahearn and fans wishing to attend are asked to enter in the north doors beneath the gymnasium sign. Bleachers will be set up on the west side of the court for fans, and match time is approximate due to travel of Missouri State. Start time is not expected to fluctuate much from the anticipated 3:30 p.m. first serve.


This will be the final match of the spring practice season for the Wildcats before they return for training camp this summer in preparation for the 2009 season.
