K-State volleyball fans looking to renew their season tickets for the upcoming 2013 season and take advantage of the Early Bird Special have until Friday to do so.

The K-State Ticket Office is offering a $10 discount off the online processing fee to fans who renew their season tickets online by May 31. Those who order by the deadline also are eligible to be entered in a drawing for a number of prizes including an autographed volleyball, framed team poster, official K-State gear and more.

This year's Reserved Chairback season tickets have an incentive based price with fans receiving a discount based on how many matches they attend. Reserved Chairback seating starts at $100 per ticket with the potential for the price to fall to as low as $85 if fans attend all 13 home matches. Discounts will be made via a reimbursement check following the season. The Reserved Chairbacks are available exclusively to Ahearn Fund members. Fans can join the Ahearn Fund for as little as $50.

General Admission balcony seating is $50 for adults and $40 for youth, senior citizen, K-State faculty and staff and military. For just $15 those seats can be upgraded to a Cat Cushion. The Cat Cushion seating will be available on the east and west ends of the south balcony for the 2013 season. Fans can again purchase a Wildcat 4 Pack for $120, which includes four General Admission bench tickets to every home match, a cost of only $2.31 per ticket.

Fans who do not already have season tickets to renew are encouraged to order tickets early as well. Season tickets are available by calling the ticket office at 800-221-CATS, online at kstatesports.com/tickets or in person at the Bramlage Coliseum Ticket Office between 8:30 a.m. and 5:30 p.m. Monday through Friday.

K-State averaged 1,823 fans per match in 2012 and ranked 20th in the nation in attendance thanks to loyal Wildcat fans. The Wildcats went 12-3 in home matches last year and return a core group of players from the 2011 and 2012 NCAA Tournament teams. Last season, fans packed the stands with more than 2,500 in attendance three times.

The Wildcats host 13 home matches this fall at Ahearn Field House. They will play their first home contest of the season on September 6 when the Wildcats host Southeast Missouri State as part of the K-State Invitational. An exciting opportunity for volleyball fans to see some elite competition will be on September 24 when the Wildcats will host the Italian Under 23 National Team.
