MANHATTAN, Kan. - Kansas State volleyball fans can now get their season tickets for the exciting action in Ahearn Field House this fall. Season tickets are on sale now through the K-State Ticket Office with a variety of pricing and seating options available for the 2010 season.

Improving on the fan experience at K-State, new chair back seats are set to be installed in Ahearn this summer creating reserved seating options on the south side of the arena for only $85. Cat Cushion Reserved seats are available in the south and west balconies for $65 and a general admission season ticket is only $50. A general admission youth, senior citizen or faculty/staff season ticket is discounted at $40 as well.

This season K-State is offering a Wildcat 4 Pack for fans for just $120. The Wildcat 4 Pack includes four general admission season tickets and comes to a cost of less than $3 a game.

K-State Volleyball season ticket holders receive a number of additional benefits; including invitations to exclusive events with the coaching staff and players, free shirts for the annual "Keep the Red Out" Nebraska match, the opportunity to redeem unused season ticket for a general admission ticket to a future match, and two free general admission tickets to an early season match to share the excitement of K-State Volleyball with friends and family.

"We're very excited about this season," said K-State volleyball coach Suzie Fritz. "Adding the new chair back seats will make Ahearn an even better place to watch volleyball. Our fans already make Ahearn a fun and exciting atmosphere to play in, and we are looking forward to getting on the court and playing very soon."

Season ticket renewal forms have been sent to fans who purchased season tickets in 2009. Renewals are due by August 6. Fans who did not purchase season tickets last season still may purchase now, but renewals will hold priority over new season ticket purchases for the reserved seating similar to the priority points system used for K-State football and basketball season tickets.

K-State volleyball opens its home schedule on September 1 against South Dakota. The Wildcats will then host the annual Kansas State Invitational with Loyola Marymount, Oral Roberts and 2009 NCAA Tournament participant Georgia Tech competing. The Wildcats will also face UMKC for another nonconference opponent at home this season and take on the highly competitive Big 12 Conference. Last season, six Big 12 teams made the NCAA Tournament with five reaching the Regional Semifinals.
