MANHATTAN, Kan. – K-State Volleyball is preparing for another successful season, and the Wildcats are asking fans to help spread the word about all the excitement for the 2012 season by offering a referral rewards program to season ticket holders who help pack Ahearn Field House with purple this fall by referring their friends and family to purchase season tickets.

Prizes vary from a catered pre-game meal, concession vouchers, official Nike K-State gear and even the chance to travel with the team to an away match.

Current season ticket holders can contact Phil Lewicki in the K-State Fan Experience and Sales office at 785-532-7742 or plewicki@kstatesports.com for more information. New season ticket holders are asked to include the season ticket holder who referred them in the comments box when ordering tickets online or mention them when ordering by phone or in person at the Ticket Office.

Season tickets are on sale now through the K-State Ticket Office by calling 800-221-CATS, ordering online at kstatesports.com or in person at the Bramlage Coliseum Ticket Office between 8:30 a.m. and 5:30 p.m. Monday through Friday.

General Admission bench season tickets are currently on sale to all fans and are available for only $30 each when purchasing four or more season tickets. Cat Cushion balcony seating is $65 for adults and just $55 for youth, senior citizens, faculty/staff and military. Season tickets will remain available through August and will be distributed on a first-come first-served basis following priority seat assignments.

The 2012 season will feature 15 home matches at newly renovated Ahearn Field House. The schedule includes two home tournaments – one additional nonconference tournament than in recent years. Three Wildcat Weekends are sure to bring excitement with fans able to catch the Wildcats in action at Ahearn Field House and Bill Snyder Family Stadium on the same day.

K-State ranked 24th in the nation in attendance in 2011 thanks to the Wildcat faithful packing Ahearn with more than 1,500 fans per contest. With the team returning all seven starters from last year’s team, there is much excitement surrounding the program as the Wildcats look to return to the NCAA Tournament.

The Wildcats return every starter from last year’s Sweet 16 run and lost only one player to graduation. With the return of nearly every player, there is much excitement surrounding the program and the team is hoping for another great year in 2012 with the fans’ support.
