Grove to Coach at USA High Performance Championship

MANHATTAN, Kan. Kansas State assistant volleyball coach Jeff Grove will be working with some of the top young talent in the nation this week at the 2008 USA Volleyball High Performance Championship in Tucson, Ariz. The annual tournament features players selected for competition via tryouts at club tournaments across the country.

 

Grove will serve as an assistant coach for the Junior National A2 Team, which participates in pool play Wednesday through Friday with bracket play over the weekend.

 

More than 80 teams will compete in the event in four girls’ divisions and two divisions for boys with teams compiled from across the country and internationally. The USA Volleyball High Performance Championship is one way USA Volleyball highlights some of the best young players in the nation by putting many of them in the same tournament.
