Wildcats to Scrimmage Thursday

MANHATTAN, Kan. - The Kansas State volleyball team will hold its first scrimmage of training camp at 6:30 p.m. Thursday at Ahearn Field House. The Wildcats will take to the court for an intrasquad scrimmage after four days of practices in preparation for the upcoming season.


Fans are invited to come watch the Wildcats in action to get their first glimpse of the team. This year's roster includes 10 freshmen, five sophomores and two seniors. K-State began two-a-days on Monday, and head coach Suzie Fritz said the first days of practice have been good, and she is excited to see her team in a match setting during the scrimmage. Doors will open at 5:30 p.m. with seating available in the balcony sections. Admission is free.
