Volleyball Delivers Season Tickets To Fans

MANHATTAN, Kan. - The Kansas State volleyball team delivered welcome surprises to volleyball season-ticket holders on Wednesday, August 14. Katie Brand, Taylor Johnson, Gina Madonia, and Katie Reininger were among the volleyball team members who delivered season tickets to select fans.

It is the third year that the volleyball team has visited valued supporters in the community prior to the season. The team made five stops, including homes and businesses, to share the excitement of the new season that starts in two weeks.

The exciting 13 match home schedule kicks off on September 6th when the Wildcats host the K-State Invitational at Ahearn Field House. K-State will have a day-night doubleheader on September 6th, facing Southeast Missouri State at noon and Southern Illinois at 7:30 p.m. The Wildcats start their 2013 campaign on the road with the UNLV Invitational from August 30-31. 

The squad returns four starters and 10 letterwinners, including two-time All-American Kaitlynn Pelger. The Wildcats, led by head coach Suzie Fritz, have advanced to the NCAA Tournament each of the last two seasons.
