Reserved Seating Options Available for VB

MANHATTAN, Kan. - In a continued effort to provide fans with the best fan experience in the Big 12 Conference, the Kansas State Athletic Department announced reserved seating options for volleyball season ticket holders on Wednesday. Head coach Suzie Fritz said this is a way for the team to thank its fans for their commitment.

"We're very excited about an opportunity to upgrade our fan experience," Fritz said. "This will give our loyal volleyball fans an opportunity to select their seat for the season. We want thank our fans and show them we appreciate their continued support of our team and our program, and this is one way to do that."

Season ticket holders will have the opportunity to reserve their seats for all 15 home matches with the option of a free Cat Cushion chairback at their selected seat. Reserved seats will be available in select sections of Ahearn Field House, and fans have their first chance to choose their reserved seat starting at 6 p.m. Saturday prior to the Purple/White Match.

This option is available to current and new season ticket holders with tickets still remaining on sale for only $50 and a faculty/staff discounted price of $40 is available. Season tickets will be on sale at the Purple/White Match as well for fans still looking to purchase season tickets to all the exciting volleyball action set for 2009.

Gates will open early for season ticket holders the first two home matches of the season to allow for selecting reserved seating. Doors will open at 5:30 p.m. on September 1 and 8 to allow season ticket holders still wishing to reserve seats. This is the first time K-State has offered reserved seating for season ticket holders at volleyball matches.

Family plans are also available for $100. Family plans include two adult and two child tickets to each home match.
