Volleyball Single Match Tickets On Sale Wednesday

MANHATTAN, Kan. – Kansas State volleyball fans who did not purchase season tickets can get their hands on single match tickets beginning Wednesday when they go on sale. Similar to season tickets, a number of options are available for fans wanting to catch the action.

General admission bench seats are available for $7 for adults. Youth and senior citizen general admission tickets are $4. Fans can purchase tickets in advance online at kstatesports.com or by calling 1-800-221-CATS (2287). Walk-ups are welcome at Ahearn Field House the night of the match, but to ensure their tickets fans can always purchase beforehand.

The Wildcats’ home schedule includes matches against seven teams that went to the 2009 NCAA Tournament, including Big 12 Conference foes Baylor, Iowa State, Nebraska, Oklahoma, Texas and Texas A&M. Georgia Tech also played in the postseason and will be in Manhattan for the annual Varney’s Kansas State Invitational as part of an action packed Wildcat Weekend when the football opens its season against UCLA at home.

Group tickets are also available for groups of 12 or more. Tickets for groups of 12-24 can be purchased for $5 apiece, and groups of 25 or larger can get tickets for $3 each. Groups are asked to contact Sarah Laha in the Fan Experience and Sales office at slaha@kstatesports.com to register their group to receive the discounted ticket price.

Fans wanting to have their child’s birthday party at a volleyball match can also contact Laha in regards to the Volleyball Party Package. The Party Package includes 12 general admission ticket, hot dogs, chips, drinks, a visit from Willie Wildcat, a gift for the birthday kid and an announcement during the match.
