A busy week for the undefeated Kansas State volleyball team kicks off with a match against the Golden Hurricane of Tulsa on Tuesday, September 10th at 6 pm in Ahearn Field House.

The Wildcats (6-0) are coming off a perfect 3-0 weekend in the K-State Invitational. K-State swept all three of its opponents - Southeast Missouri State, Southern Illinois and Siena. In the match against Southern Illinois, the Wildcats turned in a .500 hitting percentage, which is the highest for the program in a match since the 2003 season.

All-tournament performances from seniors Dakota Kaufman and Kaitlynn Pelger along with an MVP showing by redshirt freshman Katie Brand led the way for the Wildcats. Kaufman had 27 kills in the tournament while Brand had 98 assists, 12 kills, 20 digs and four blocks throughout the weekend. Pelger, meanwhile, garnered her second all-tournament award this season. She was named MVP of the UNLV Invitational in late August.

K-State enters the match against Tulsa with a 24-2 advantage in the all-time series, including four straight wins. The Wildcats beat the Golden Hurricane 3-0 in 2012 in Tulsa.

While nothing beats watching a match in Ahearn Field House, where the Wildcats are 25-6 (.806) over the last two seasons, fans can also watch the match on K-StateHD.TV or Fox College Sports. Brian Smoller will call the game alongside former Wildcats standout Liz Wegner-Busch. Rob Voelker will also call the game live on KMAN 1350 AM.
