Wildcat Weekend, Pack the Field House on Tap

MANHATTAN, Kan. - The K-State volleyball team, coming off a 13-1 record in nonconference play to open the season, begins its march through Big 12 Conference action this Saturday, September 27 in Ahearn Field House. This weekend's match will feature one of several ticket promotions on tap for Wildcat fans, a slate that includes Wildcat Weekends and Pack the Field House.
This Saturday, at 7 p.m., K-State and Baylor will open their Big 12 schedules with a match in Manhattan. Fans can take advantage of the first of four Wildcat Weekend ticket deals by showing their K-State vs. UTEP football ticket at the Ahearn Field House ticket office to receive a $3 ticket to the match.
Other Wildcat Weekends include November 1 (vs. Texas Tech), November 22 (vs. TCU), and November 29 (vs. West Virginia).
One of the best ticket deals for Wildcat fans this season is set for Saturday, October 18, when K-State faces the defending Big 12 champion, No. 2 Texas, in the annual Pack the Field House match. All tickets are $1, and hot dogs are $1 as well, while supplies last.
Another top promotion on deck during Big 12 play is the Cats for the Cure match on Wednesday, October 22 vs. Oklahoma. The first 100 fans in attendance for the 7 p.m. match will receive a free pink t-shirt while concession stands will offer pink popcorn and other select items.
To purchase tickets, fans can go here, call 1-800-221-CATS (2287) or stop by the K-State Athletics Ticket Office in Bramlage Coliseum. Walk-up tickets are also available on match days as ticket windows at Ahearn Field House open one hour before first serve.
K-State, which went 3-0 this past weekend at the Michigan Invitational, is led offensively by three-time Big 12 Rookie of the Week Kylee Zumach (180 kills), sophomore outside hitter Brooke Sassin (160 kills, 6 aces), and redshirt sophomore setter Katie Brand (571 assists, 150 digs, 44 kills).
