K-State to Host Ultimate Wildcat Weekend

MANHATTAN, Kan. – With the intersection of the fall and winter sports seasons, Kansas State Athletics will host the Ultimate Wildcat Weekend on Saturday across the K-State campus.

The day starts at 1 p.m., as the No. 22 K-State volleyball team hosts Texas Tech at Ahearn Field House. Fans can purchase a ticket to the match for just $3 by showing their ticket to that night’s K-State football game against Oklahoma State. The ticket office in Ahearn Field House will open at 12 p.m., on Saturday.

The afternoon continues, as the K-State men’s and women’s basketball teams will host a pair of open practices for Wildcat fans. Bramlage Coliseum will open at 4 p.m., as the women will practice first for an hour, followed by the men at 5 p.m. Both head coaches and seniors from each program will address the crowd at the conclusion of each practice.

The open practice sessions are free and open to the public with concessions available at the west and north concession stands inside Bramlage. K-State fans who have not purchased season tickets for the basketball seasons will have the opportunity to select their seat during the event, as available seat locations will be tagged during the practice sessions. K-State Athletics ticket office staff members will be available to assist in the purchase of season tickets.

The day will conclude at Bill Snyder Family Stadium, as the No. 11 K-State football team will host Oklahoma State at 7 p.m. Standing room only tickets are available for the game against the Cowboys and those tickets may be purchased by contacting the K-State Athletics Ticket Office online at www.kstatesports.com/tickets, by phone at 1-800-221-CATS or at the main ticket office inside Bramlage Coliseum.
