Sunday’s Round Canceled

NORMAN Okla. – Second-round play of the Schooner Fall Classic has been canceled due to inclement weather on Sunday. The tournament has been shortened to 36 holes with the final round starting at 8:30 a.m., on Monday. 

Tee times were scheduled to start at 9 a.m., on Sunday, but competition was pushed back three and a half hours due to rain and lighting in the area before the decision was made to cancel the round.

K-State currently sits in seventh place with a 10-over par 294. Junior Madison Talley and sophomore Connie Jaffrey pace the Wildcats in a tie for 10th place with a 1-under par 70 going into the play on Monday.
 
The final round for the Wildcats will tee off at 9:30 a.m., on Monday. Live stats can be followed on www.birdiefire.com and final results will be posted on www.kstatesports.com following the conclusion of play.
