Ten Wildcats Named to the Academic All-Big 12 Team

MANHATTAN, Kan. – Ten members of the Kansas State cross teams were named to the Academic All-Big 12 Cross Country Team, the conference office announced on Tuesday. 

The Wildcats had nine athletes named First Team Academic All-Big 12 including: Brett Bachman, Jeff Bachman, Samuel Oxandale, Bryan Zack, Kayla Doll, Paige Kochuyt, Marija Stambolic and Morgan Wedekind. Sophomore Mady Nestor was named to the second team. 

Jeff Bachman was also recognized as one of 16 student-athletes in the Big 12 with a 4.0 GPA. 

To qualify, student-athletes were required to maintain a 3.00 GPA as well as compete in at least 60 percent of the teams meets.
