Wildcats Ranked 15th in the Midwest Region in Latest USTFCCCA Poll

MANHATTAN, Kan. – Kansas State’s cross country teams moved into the top-15 in the Midwest Region, the USTFCCCA announced in its latest rankings on Monday. 

Both squads, which were previously unranked, moved to No. 15 in the region after a strong performances in Stilllwater, Oklahoma at the Cowboy Jamboree. The men finished in 4th place, while the women finished in 5th. 

The ranking marks the first time that the men’s team has been featured in the poll, which began ranking teams in the 2010 season. The women’s team was last featured in the rankings during the 2014 season, placing 8th in the final poll of the year which came out on November 3, 2014.

K-State returns to action on October 16 in Peoria, Illinois, as the team travels to compete in the Bradley Classic.
