Wildcats Set for Daytime Kicks in Final Two Football Games

MANHATTAN, Kan. – On the heels of placing Kansas State’s November 19 game at Baylor on the six-day ready list, the Big 12 Conference and FOX Sports announced Tuesday that the Wildcats’ final two regular season games of the 2016 will kick off either in the morning or mid-afternoon.

K-State’s Senior Day contest against Kansas on November 26, will begin at either 11 a.m., or 2:30 p.m., and be televised by FS1. The final time and television designation for the Dillons Sunflower Showdown will be made on Monday, November 14.

The Wildcats’ regular-season finale at TCU on December 3, will also kick off at either 11 a.m., or 2:30 p.m., and be televised by FOX or FS1. FOX Sports will pick one of three games – K-State at TCU, Baylor at West Virginia and Oklahoma State at Oklahoma – to be played at 11 a.m., on FOX, while the other two will serve as a FS1 Big 12 doubleheader at 11 a.m., and 2:30 p.m. FOX Sports will announce the time and television designations on a six-day notice, no later than Sunday, November 27.

Announced on Monday, K-State’s next game – November 19 at Baylor – will be played at either 11 a.m., 2:30 p.m., 6 p.m. or 7 p.m., on either ABC, ESPN, ESPN2, ESPNU or FS1. If the game is selected for an FS1 telecast, it will begin at 11 a.m.
