MEN'S AND WOMEN'S TRACK AND FIELD ASSISTANT COACH
Primary emphasis is to teach, mentor, and instruct pole vault student-athletes in practice and competition, scout and recruit student-athletes primarily but not limited to recruits who compete in the pole vault event, assist with all home competition duties, which includes administration, setup and teardown.
Bachelor's degree; experience at the NCAA Division I level coaching/teaching student-athletes in pole vault event with proven ability to recruit NCAA Division I quality student-athletes Must have a valid driver's license at all times; be able to work evenings, weekends and holidays as required; and have a strong commitment to the academic and athletic goals of the K-State Athletics Track and Field Program at Kansas State University.

STAFF ASSISTANT, TRACK & FIELD PROGRAM
An hourly position with responsibilities that include but are not limited to overseeing the cross country team’s travel program and budget, and overseeing the student managers and video program and related budgets. Will be heavily relied upon to arrive in the office on-time every day to answer the phones and greet walk-in visitors. Must be able to demonstrate proper decision-making skills, know and follow NCAA and Big 12 Rules and regulations, and deal with confidential and/or sensitive matters with discretion and absolute confidentiality. Must be able to prioritize work and multi-task with little to no supervision, prepare and proofread typewritten materials for accuracy, record and maintain accurate recruit contact and evaluations in the Jump Forward data base, and create and maintain Microsoft Office Word documents, Access Databases and Excel worksheets as required. Oversee cross country on-campus recruiting an international recruiting programs, and is liaison with KSU International Student Center and English Language Program. Works with Director of Track and Field regarding social media contact with prospective, equipment management, and travel arrangements for track and field team.
Bachelor's Degree and must have experience as a NCAA Division I track and field student-athlete, and possess a thorough knowledge/experience with Microsoft Office Word and Excel programs Must also have knowledge of NCAA rules and regulations, possess strong oral and written communication skills, and strong organizational skills; must be a self-starter who is punctual and reliable with a proven ability to work independently and perform the duties of this position with limited instruction; must handle confidential and/or sensitive matters with discretion and absolute confidentiality; and must be able to work evenings and weekends as required.
Knowledge of Big 12 rules and regulations.
