CAREER: A talented defensive back who redshirted in 2011 before playing in six games in 2012 and starting all 13 games in 2013.
2013 (Click Here for Game-by-Game Stats): Started all 13 games... Scored two non-offensive touchdowns, the first coming on a 38-yard interception return against UMass and the second being a 65-yard blocked field goal at Oklahoma State... His score against the Cowboys was the first by a Wildcat on a blocked field goal since 2002... Had two interceptions against UMass to tie for sixth in school history en route to Big 12 Defensive Player of the Week honors.
2012 (Click Here for Game-by-Game Stats): Appeared in six games, recording his first-career tackle against Texas Tech.
2011: Redshirted.
COMMUNITY COLLEGE: Played in 10 games for national champion Blinn College in 2009... Recorded 37 tackles, including one for a loss... Had five interceptions and three fumble recoveries... Named to SWJCFC second-team on defense in 2010... Helped the Buccaneers to a 20-4 combined record in two seasons... Teammates with former K-State linebacker Justin Tuggle.
HIGH SCHOOL: Selected first-team all-district and honorable mention all-state during senior season at A&M Consolidated High School.... Led squad to a district title as a senior.
PERSONAL: Kip Daily was born December 30, 1990... Son of Andrew and Brenda Daily.
