MANHATTAN, Kan. - The Kansas State Track and Field coaching staff is offering another chance to get fit for the fall with their Fall Back to Fitness Camp. The camp is open to any and all people who are looking to get fit. Campers will have the opportunity to train with members of the coaching staff as well as former and current K-State student-athletes while receiving instruction on a variety of techniques to improve training practices.
The Back to Fitness Camp is a four-week program that meets three days a week (Tuesday, Thursday, Sunday) beginning on October 29. Cost of the camp is $100, a cost of less than $9 per session. The first 25 registered participants will receive a discounted rate of only $85 while K-State Athletics staff and immediate family receive a discounted cost of $60.
Activities of the camp will include: warming up, warming down, running form instruction, general strength development, core strength development, mobility development, flexibility development, cardio development and injury prevention techniques.
The Fall Back to Fitness Camp is open to any and all ages, fitness levels and goals. Each day of the camp will consist of a workout plan that will progress over the camp. Modifications will be made each day based on the skill levels, ability levels and goals of the campers.

Registration also can be done the day of the camp on site at Ahearn Field House beginning at 6:30 p.m. shortly before the first session on October 29. Campers will receive a camp T-shirt and are asked to bring their own drinking water or sports drink for hydration.
