Brookings HS:
Lettered for the Bobcats under head coach Rob Hirrschoff... Went 7-1 with a 0.68 ERA and 103 strikeouts as a junior, earning all-state honors and helping his team finish in third place at the state championships... Came back with a 9-2 record and a 2.23 ERA en route to a state championship and another all-state selection... Was also named all-region in 2010, 2011 and 2012... Also lettered four years in football and basketball, earning all-conference accolades in basketball on two occasions.

Personal: Landon Hondo Busch was born September 19, 1993, in Milbank, S.D... Son of Mike and Dawn Busch... Has three siblings, Logan, Tatum and Christian... Father, Mike, was the quarterback for two games for the New York Giants during the 1987 NFL strike... Mike is a high school football and basketball coach, as well as the athletic director.
