Battling with senior Brett Williams for the starting job at shortstop... Coaches call him one of the best defensive shortstops to ever come through the program... Makes the difficult play look easy... Hands and feet are as good anyone Kansas State has ever had... Needs to be more selective and patient at the plate... Should leadoff the order or at least hit in the two-hole.

Started all three games at shortstop for the victorious White Sox during the Fall Ball World Series... Posted a .250 batting average in the lead-off spot with three RBIs and a run scored... Led the team with two doubles.

A two-year starter and letterman at Connors State College in Warner, Okla. ... One of three Connors players to sign with the Wildcats, joining teammates Jim Ripley and Zack Saunders...
