Junior (2012): Was used out the bullpen on 18 occasions, recording a 1-1 record with one save... Did not allow an earned run eight times, while he set a career high with five strikeouts twice... Lasted a season-long 2.2 innings on March 10 against Hartford as he struck out five batters and picked up his first career save... Earned the win against Northern Colorado on April 17 when he allowed two runs over two innings, a game in which K-State won in the bottom of the ninth... Tossed 2.1 scoreless innings, working around one hit and a walk with three strikeouts against Nebraska on April 3... Allowed just one hit and tied his career high in strikeouts in a 2.1-inning outing against Oklahoma State on April 28.

Freshman (2010): Saw time in 16 games, all as a reliever... Was 0-1 with a 7.13 ERA... Took the loss in his first career outing against East Tennessee State, allowing four runs on six hits with no walks and one strikeout... Was able to bounce back as he did not allow an earned run in his next four appearances, which spanned six innings... Allowed just one hit in 1.1 innings, while striking out four... Also collected two strikeouts against St. Bonaventure and Chicago State on April 28... Teamed with Matt Applegate, Tyler Sturges and Jake Doller to limit the Cougars to three hits, the first combined three-hitter since 2007.
