Saw action in 12 games with eight starts as a junior from the mound... Collected a 2-4 record and 7.65 ERA on the season in 42.1 innings pitched with 17 strikeouts and 16 walks... His eight starts ranked fourth on the team, while his 42.1 innings pitched placed him fifth among the staff... Was the Wildcats’ winning pitcher in the upset of defending NCAA champion LSU on Feb. 10... Picked up the win against Utah on Feb. 16 at the Applebee’s Baseball Fiesta in Albuqueque, N.M., as he allowed two runs on four hits with a season-high three strikeouts in a season-tying 6-1/3 innings of work... Was the hard luck loser against Arkansas on March 20 at the Centenary Classic in Shreveport, La. ... Allowed just two runs (one earned) on three hits with one strikeout in a 2-0 loss.

Saw action in 16 games from the mound, including nine starts and one complete... A solid student who earned first team Academic All-Big 12 Conference honors... Tallied a 4-5 record and 6.43 ERA in 71.1 innings pitched with 51 strikeouts and 45 walks... Tied with senior Jason Wells for team-high in wins with four, while ranked third in four other categories, including appearances (16), game starts (nine), innings pitched (71.1) and strikeouts (51)... Pitched a season-high five innings in against Bethany on May 7 with four strikeouts to claim his first collegiate win... Posted a 3-2 record and hit .350 with a home run despite missing five games as a senior due to a leg injury... Hit .500 with six home runs and was 6-2 with 67 strikeouts as a prep junior... Earned first-team All-East Kansas League, All-Johnson County and Kansas City Star All-Metro honorable mention honors following junior season ...
