Anthony Everman, a native of the Midwest, joins the Kansas State coaching staff as a volunteer assistant for the 2010 season. Everman will assist hitting coach Andy Sawyers and will tutor the Wildcat outfielders, while serving as the first base coach.

Everman came to Kansas State from Arkansas State where he was the assistant hitting coach, coached the team's catchers and also coached first base. He assisted head coach Tommy Raffo with the daily practice schedule and was the coordinator of the Tommy Raffo Baseball Camps.

Prior to his one-year stint in Jonesboro, Everman served as an assistant coach and recruiting coordinator at Ferrum College in Ferrum, Va. He also served as the athletic department's strength and conditioning coach and was an adjunct professor in the Physical Education/Health Sciences department.

Everman also brings a wealth of summer-league experience to Kansas State as he was the manager and head coach of the Covington Lumberjacks in Covington , Va., for two seasons.

Everman has also served as an assistant at Virginia Tech, his alma mater, Loras College (Iowa) and Waukon High School in Waukon, Iowa.

A native of Decorah, Iowa, Everman graduated with a degree in physical education from Loras College in Dubuque, Iowa, where he played baseball and was an All-Iowa Intercollegiate Athletic Conference Academic selection on two occasions. He earned his Masters of Science in Physical Education from Virginia Tech in 2005.
