Starters from 2012 are back, but junior-college transfers battle returners
West Texas College: Played the 2011 season for the Westerners under head coach Cameron Dudd... Earned all-conference accolades as he hit .488 (83-for-170) with 13 doubles, four triples, five home runs and 63 RBI... His .488 batting average and .579 on-base percentage ranked second nationally in the NJCAA... Also scored 55 runs and was 39-of-44 in stolen base attempts... Carded eight games with three or more hits, including a pair of four-hit games, and four games with three stolen bases... Also had five games with three or more RBI, including a seven-RBI contest against El Paso Community College in the final game of the year... Helped team finish with a 39-17 record.
