Rated the 13th-best player in the state of Ohio by Perfect Game Crosschecker, was the Ohio Capital Conference Player of the Year, the Division I Central District Player of the Year, earned first team all-state honors from the Columbus Dispatch and was a 2010 Under Armour Preseason All-American... Hit .574 (58-for-101) as a senior with 15 doubles, one triple, five home runs and 26 RBI... Broke the single-season school records for batting average (previously held by current Wildcat and brother Jason King at .477), hits, runs scored (41), doubles, on-base percentage (.632) and slugging percentage (.891)...
