An Honorable Mention All-NJCAA, First Team All-NJCAA Central District and First Team All-Jayhawk Conference selection as a sophomore... Earned an 8-2 record and a 2.29 ERA in 14 appearances, including four starts, allowing 22 earned runs on 72 hits with 31 walks and 95 strikeouts in 86.2 innings pitched... His 95 strikeouts were a single-season school record... Was 7-1 with a 5.44 ERA in nine games as a freshman, allowing 26 runs on 50 hits with 22 walks and 37 strikeouts in 43.0 innings...
