Has been one of the most used relievers in K-State history... Needs just four game appearances and five relief appearances to break the school's career records... Also enters the season 10th on the school's career wins list with 14.

Junior (2010): Led the team with 47.1 innings pitched out of the bullpen... Went 4-1 with a 4.18 ERA, while he was stellar against Big 12 opponents, earning a 3-0 record and a 3.45 ERA, which ranked 10th in the league... Saw action in 26 games to rank ninth in school history... Recorded four straight four-strikeout games against St. Bonaventure, Villanova, Harvard and Kent State on March 12... Reset career high with seven strikeouts in four no-hit innings against Oklahoma State on March 28 to pick up the win... Also had five punch outs in another four no-hit innings in a win against Baylor on April 16 and in another winning effort against Kansas on May 14... A First Team Academic All-Big 12 selection.

Sophomore (2009): Made a school-record 32 appearances, earning a 5-2 record with four saves and a 4.33 ERA... Also set the school record with 31 relief appearances, while his 32 game appearances moved him into the top 10 for a career at Kansas State... Helped the 2009 pitching staff set the school record for strikeouts and rank second in school history in fewest walks per nine innings, third in ERA and tie for fifth in opponent batting average in the aluminum bat era... Ranked fifth in the Big 12 in appearances and tied for ninth in saves... Allowed a team-low 30.3-percent of inherited runners to score... Finished second on the team by retiring 74.2-percent of first batters faced... Recorded at least two strikeouts (29 total) in nine-straight appearances from March 13 thru April 10... Earned his first victory of the season against No. 26 San Diego State after allowing one earned run on two hits and a strikeout in one inning... Picked up his second win against Butler, throwing 3.2 no-hit innings with a season-high five strikeouts... Had an excellent series against No. 15 Texas A&M, recording a 2.1-inning save with just one hit and three strikeouts in the second game, while picking up the victory as the Wildcats won the series in game three after allowing just one hit in 1.2 innings... Helped the Cats salvage the final game of the Missouri series as he threw 3.2 no-hit innings with four strikeouts for his fourth win of the year... Earned fourth save against Oklahoma State before picking up his fifth win against BYU in his next appearance... Tossed two innings of no-hit ball against Baylor in the Big 12 Championship... Named to the NCBWA Stopper of the Year watch list prior to the year... Earned First Team Academic All-Big 12 accolades, while being named to the ESPN The Magazine Academic All-District team and the Big 12 Commissioner's Honor Roll.

Freshman (2008): A 2008 Louisville Slugger Freshman All-American who made 25 relief appearances, tying for fifth in school history... Earned a 5-1 record with a 3.59 ERA in 42.2 innings... His five victories were the most by a Wildcat true freshman since 1999... Was efficient in his nine Big 12 outings, earning a 1-1 record with a 4.26 ERA and a 16-to-5 strikeout-to-walk ratio... Was able to slam the door on opponents as he allowed just eight hits in 51 at bats when pitching with two outs... Struck out at least three batters in five appearances... Did not allow an earned run in his first 10.0 innings pitched... Also went 21.0 innings without allowing an earned run from April 8 against Wichita State until May 4 against Missouri... Picked up his first collegiate win against Michigan State on March 2 after allowing just one hit in 3.2 innings... Threw 1.2 innings of no-hit ball with three strikeouts to pick up the win against Washington State... Had his best performance of the season at Texas Tech on April 18 as he pitched 7.1 scoreless innings in relief, allowing just three hits while striking out a season-high five batters... His performance against the Red Raiders dropped his ERA from 2.35 to 1.59... Fanned four batters in 3.1 scoreless innings against Texas on April 25.

Oak Ridge HS: A four-year starter and letterwinner as a pitcher and first baseman for the War Eagles under head coaches Todd Doucet and Stacy Scheiner... Compiled a career record of 14-9 with a 2.20 ERA... Was named the District 15-5A Newcomer of the Year as a freshman in 2004... Earned first team all-district and first team all-county honors in 2006 and 2007... Also second team all-Houston area and a team MVP in 2007.... Named a Houston Area Baseball Coaches Association (HABCA) All-Star.
