One of the most-used relievers in Kansas State history, Trevor Hurley returns to Manhattan for the 2014 season as the graduate manager. In his role, Hurley will assist pitching coach Josh Reynolds on a daily basis while performing other tasks for the K-State coaching staff.

A three-year letterwinner for the Wildcats, Hurley was drafted in the 22nd round of the 2008 MLB Draft by the Texas Rangers. He spent parts of five seasons in the Rangers' organization, reaching Double A Frisco in 2012. He held a 15-10 career record with a 2.85 ERA and 22 saves in 143 appearances, while he totaled 303 strikeouts. While playing for High A Hickory in 2010, Hurley was named a South Atlantic League All-Star as he registered a 1.43 ERA and 11 saves with 50 strikeouts.

Hurley, who ranks fifth in K-State history with 52 career relief appearances, saw time in 58 games during his Wildcat career. He helped guide Kansas State to the 2008 Big 12 Championship title game, while he was a starter during the 2007 season which K-State reached the postseason for the first time since 2002.

Hurley is completing his bachelor's degree in business management.
