MANHATTAN, Kan. – With an exciting 31-game home baseball schedule on the docket in 2013, the K-State Athletics Department is offering multiple fan-friendly ticket discounts and events at Tointon Family Stadium with the release of single-game ticket pricing and promotional information.

Single-game tickets go on sale on Monday, just 11 days prior to the 2013 home-opening series against Oakland, Friday through Sunday, March 1-3.

Tickets in the reserved chairback sections in the lower bowl of the stadium in Sections 1 and 2, and Section 7 above the concourse behind home plate are priced at $12 per game, while general admission chairback seating in Sections 6 and 8 above the concourse are available for $10 per game. Adult general admission bench tickets in Sections 4, 5, 9 and 10 are priced at $8 per game, while youth, senior citizens and military personnel can purchase single-game tickets for $5.

Fans can order single-game tickets online at www.k-statesports.com/tickets, by phone at 1-800-221-CATS or in person at either the K-State Athletics Ticket office inside Bramlage Coliseum or at the Tointon Family Stadium box office one hour prior to any game.

Continuous promotions throughout the 2013 season include Sunday Family Day every Sunday game and pregame tailgates. Each Sunday during the season, fans can purchase a Wildcat 4 Pack that includes four general admission bench tickets and four concession vouchers for $30, while all kids can run the bases after the game.

K-State will hold a pregame tailgate party on the southwest lawn area of the Tointon Family Stadium grounds. Tailgates begin one hour prior to first pitch and fans will have the opportunity to purchase a $5 cheeseburger meal and other concession items, while soda will be available for $2 and beer will be sold for $4.
