UPDATE: All general admission Cat Cushion tickets for the game on Sunday, April 6 are also SOLD OUT. Ony standing room only tickets remain for April 5 and 6. Cat Cushion tickets are still available for Friday, April 4 (First pitch: 6:30 pm).
MANHATTAN, Kan. – All general admission Cat Cushion tickets have been sold out for the Saturday, April 5 baseball game between K-State and KU at Tointon Family Stadium, K-State Athletics officials announced. A limited amount of standing room only tickets for the berm down the left field line are available for purchase, starting at $5 for youth and $8 for adults. Also, a limited number of general admission Cat Cushion tickets remain for the series’ other two games on Friday and Sunday.
Fans may purchase tickets for the Sunflower Showdown series in advance by phone at 1-800-221-CATS, in person at the main K-State Athletics Ticket Office at Bramlage Coliseum, or online at www.kstatesports.com. The Tointon Family Stadium box office opens one hour prior to first pitch for each game. Fans are encouraged to purchase tickets for Friday and Sunday in advance.
K-State’s first home conference series of the season begins with a 6:30 pm game on Friday and will conclude with a 1 pm contest on Sunday. Saturday’s first pitch is set for 2 pm.
K-State is averaging more than 2,600 fans in per-game paid attendance after more than doubling season tickets to an all-time high this season.
All three games of the series against KU will be broadcast live on Time Warner Cable Sports Channel (channel 22 on Cox/Time Warner Cable) and heard online at k-statesports.com. The series can also be heard on the radio on the K-State Sports Network on Friday and News Radio 1350 KMAN on Saturday and Sunday.
