LUBBOCK, Texas – Tickets are on sale for the 2012 Phillips 66 Big 12 Baseball Championship, which runs May 23-27, at Chickasaw Bricktown Ballpark in Oklahoma City, Okla.

Kansas State, which clinched its spot in the tournament field Friday night in a 5-1 victory at Texas Tech, will be either the No. 7 or No. 8 seed, which will be determined following play on Saturday. The Wildcats are making their sixth-straight appearance in the conference championship.

The championship is set up with two four-team divisions that are played in a double-elimination format beginning on Wednesday, May 23. The winner of each division will play in a one-game championship on Sunday, May 27.

All-session tickets are available for $87 for terrace reserved seating, $117 for box seating and $202 for club-level seats. A limited number of weekend passes are also available starting at $67. All-session tickets include all games, including the if-necessary games, totaling 15 contests. Single-session tickets will be available the week of the event.

Oklahoma City has been the site of the championship for eight-straight years and 14 times total. Chickasaw Bricktown Ballpark serves as the home of the Oklahoma City RedHawks, the Triple A affiliate of the Houston Astros.

Kansas State closes out the regular season on Saturday with a 1 p.m., contest at Texas Tech. The game will be televised nationally on FSN, while listeners in the Manhattan area can hear the game on SportsRadio 1350 KMAN as well as online at both www.k-statesports.com and www.1350kman.com.
