An extremely quick and athletic point guard who not only has the ability to distribute but also score the basketball...earned honorable mention All-Big 12 honors and voted to the league?s All-Newcomer team last season...one of the Wildcats? most indispensible players last season as indicated by his 34.8 minutes of action per game (third in the Big 12)...the second-leading returning scorer (11.2 ppg) for the Wildcats and top assist man (3.8 apg)...a preseason All-Big 12 candidate.

2000-01 (Junior): Only Wildcat to start all 29 games last season...the second-leading scorer (11.2 ppg) and top assist man (3.8 apg, 10th in the Big 12) on the club...posted double figures in scoring in 17 games, including 13 of his last 16 contests...his 109 assists rank tied for 14th on the K-State all-time single-season chart...posted a career-high 31 points (10 of 15 FGs) in the Wildcats? upset of No. 19 Iowa (12/23/00)...also dished out eight assists and recorded three steals vs. the Hawkeyes...scored 30 points (10 of 16 FGs), including 7-of-9 three-pointers, in the ?Cats near upset at No. 15 Iowa State (2/3/01)...his seven threes in that game were tied for fourth on the K-State single-game chart and the second most ever by a Wildcat in a road game (8, Steve Henson at Iowa State, 2/17/90...played 40 or more minutes in five games, including a career-high 42 vs. Oklahoma (1/20/01)...played 106 consecutive minutes at one point during the season (from 8:02 mark of first half at Memphis, 12/30, to 14:00 mark of the Texas game, 1/10)...dished out a career-high nine assists in the season-opener vs. Texas-San Antonio (11/18/00)...recorded his first career double-double with 17 points and a career-high 12 rebounds vs. Tennessee State (11/28/00)...tallied 18 points, five assists and three steals vs. Nebraska (1/30/01)...earned Big 12 Rookie of the Week honors twice (1/2/01; 2/5/01).

Junior college: Named a second team junior college All-American in 2000...led Northern Oklahoma JC to the Region II Championship and a berth in the National Junior College Tournament as a sophomore...tabbed All-Bi-West Conference, all-state and all-region as a sophomore...selected MVP of the Region II JC Tournament...averaged 18.5 points, six assists, three steals and three rebounds as a sophomore...a two-year starter for the Mavericks...coached by Mick Weiberg.
