Made a smooth transition to the Division I level after a stellar career at Pensacola JC... Was the only Wildcat to start all 29 games during 2001-02... Averaged 12.1 ppg and scored in double figures in 21 of 29 contests... Paced the `Cats on the glass in 23 games and averaged 8.4 rebounds for the season... His 8.4 rebounding average ranked fourth in the Big 12 and equaled the third-best rebound average in the last 20 seasons at K-State... Recorded 10 double-doubles in 2001-02, including three of the last four games of the year... His nine regular-season double-doubles tied for fifth in the Big 12... Owned Kansas State's highest field-goal percentage and ranked fourth in the Big 12, shooting at a 55.8-percent (126-for-226) clip for the year...
