A three-year starter and lettermen at Westfield High School in Houston, Texas... Led the Mustangs to a 57-18 overall record in his last two seasons, including a 27-3 mark in Class 5A Region II District 13 play... Helped Westfield to a 31-7 record, including a 16-0 mark in district play, as a senior en route to a trip to the University Interscholastic League (UIL) Class 5A Region II semifinals, where they lost to Berkner, 64-56, in overtime...
