Career • Williams spent five seasons in the program after receiving a medical redshirt as a true freshman. • Williams saw action 96 of the last 100 games, including 49 starts, his last 3 seasons after playing in just 15 combined contests during the 2010-11 and 2011-12 seasons. • Williams scored 712 points in his K-State career on 47.7 percent shooting (267-of-560) to go 409 rebounds in 111 career games with 49 starts.

As A Junior (2013-14) • Saw action in all 33 games, including 10 starts... Usually one of the first options off the bench, as his 16.3 minutes per game average tied for most by all reserves... One of six players to play in all 33 contests... Nine of his 10 starts came in the last nine games after an injury to senior Shane Southwell, where he averaged 21.3 minutes per contest. • Played 20 or more minutes in 11 contests, including a season-best 45 in the double-overtime loss at Baylor (2/15/14). • Averaged 6.2 points on 50.3 percent shooting (77-of-153) with 3.5 rebounds in 16.3 minutes per game... As A Sophomore (2012-13) • Saw action in 34 games, including 11 starts, as a sophomore... Trailed only Thomas Gipson and Rodney McGruder in number of games played... Started 11 of the first 13 games, including nine in a row to start the season...Was injured vs. No. 14/14 Gonzaga (12/15/12) and missed the Texas Southern (12/18/12) game... Moved to the bench after the change to the four-guard lineup on Dec. 18, serving as a reserve in the last 22 contests. • Registered double-digit minutes in 19 games, including a season-best 32 minutes vs. UMKC (12/29/12). • Averaged 4.2 points on 46.2 percent shooting (60-of-130) with 3.3 rebounds and 0.5 assists in 12.5 minutes per game... As A Freshman (2010-11) • Received a medical redshirt after sustaining several injuries... Played in just three games, averaging 2.3 points on 60 percent shooting with 1.3 rebounds in 6.3 minutes per game. • Played a season-high 13 minutes against Emporia State (11/29/10), totaling four points on 2-of-3 field goals with four rebounds, one block and one steal. • Made his Wildcat debut against Gonzaga (11/22/10) in the O'Reilly Auto Parts CBE Classic semifinals at the Sprint Center with three points in two minutes of action... Made his first and only 3-pointer against the Bulldogs.
High School • Rated No. 89 on the Rivals' 150 for 2011, including No. 20 among small forwards, before opting to enroll early after committing to the program in October 2009. • Helped Leavenworth to a 17-8 overall record as a senior in 2009-10, including a No. 7 final ranking by the Kansas City Star... Lost to Blue Valley North in the Class 6A state tournament third-place game. • Selected Mr. Kansas Basketball by the Kansas Basketball Coaches Association (KBCA)... He became the sixth Wildcat to earn the honor, following Steve Henson (1986), Gaylon Nickerson (1988), Brian Henson (1991), Josh Reid (1996) and Quentin Buchanan (1999). • Named second team All-State for all classes and first team Class 6A by the Topeka Capital-Journal... Scored a game-high 20 points for the North squad in the KBCA All-Star Game in August... Named the Kansas City Star's Athlete of the Week on Jan. 4, 2010... Selected honorable mention Class 6A by the Topeka Capital-Journal as a junior. • Averaged 20 points and 9.5 rebounds as a senior in 2009-10... Recorded 11 20-point games and led the team in scoring on 15 occasions... Scored a season-high 29 points twice, including against Wichita Heights in the Class 6A semifinals on March 12... Personal • Nino Lorenzo Williams was born Sept. 13, 1991 in St. Louis, Missouri... Guardian is Derek Zeck. • Played his AAU ball with the Mo-Kan Spiece. • Earned his bachelor's degree in social science in May 2014 and completed a certificate in conflict analysis and trauma studies in May 2015.
