Miscellaneous Notes 
--Kansas State is now 298-97 (.754) all-time at Bramlage Coliseum… The Wildcats are 14-1 at home this year, including 13-1 at Bramlage Coliseum.

--The Wildcats now leads the series against Baylor, 15-12, and are now 5-5 at home in the Big 12 era… Today’s win snaps a two game losing skid to the Bears.


--The starting lineup for tonight’s contest consisted sophomore guard Angel Rodriguez, junior guard Will Spradling, senior guard Rodney McGruder, senior forward Jordan Henriquez and junior forward Shane Southwell… K-State is now 5-1 when using this lineup.


--This is the seventh-consecutive year that the Wildcats have reached 20 wins… Coach Bruce Weber is the fourth coach in Kansas State history to win 20 games in their first season.


--Attendance on Saturday was announced as 12,528… K-State averaged 12,783 last season to rank 25th in the nation in attendance… Wildcat fans are averaging 12,564 so far this season.


Team Notes

--K-State scored 15 second-chance points thanks to 16 offensive rebounds… The Wildcats had 10 second chance points at halftime thanks to seven offensive boards.

--Points off turnovers was again a key to the game… Kansas State led the category by a slim margin at halftime 7-4, but K-State got going in the second half for a 22-6 advantage for the game.


--The Wildcats are No. 1 in the Big 12 in scoring defense as they held Baylor below its own scoring average today… Entering today Baylor was averaging 75.7 points per game.


--K-State managed to turn the ball over 6 times, tying its season low for the third time this season.


Individual Notes

--Angel Rodriguez scored a career-high 22 points and had 10 assists which is also a career high… This was also his first career double-double… He was 7-of-15 on field goals and a perfect 5-of-5 from the free throw line.

--Jordan Henriquez managed to get his first double-double of the season with 10 points and 10 rebounds… He was 4-of-9 shooting and 2-of-5 from the free-throw line… This is the first time he has scored in double figures this season.


--Shane Southwell tied his career-high with 19 points while going 6-of-9 from beyond the arc… His six 3-pointers are a career-best and the most by a Wildcat since Rodney McGruder tallied seven treys against UMKC on Dec. 23, 2010.


--Thomas Gipson provided a spark off the bench to score 6 points and grab 3 boards.


--Rodney McGruder scored in double figure for the 76th time in his Wildcat career as he tallied 10 points against the Bears.
