2013-14 Season Ticket Brochure

MANHATTAN, Kan. - With excitement riding high after the program's first conference championship in 36 years, K-State Athletics announced today official ticket information for the 2013-14 men's basketball season.

K-State will play 18 games (including one exhibition game) in Bramlage Coliseum in 2013-14, including marquee non-conference matchups against Ole Miss, George Washington, Long Beach State and Oral Roberts. The full schedule will be released at later date. In addition to its eight non-conference games, the Wildcats will again face an 18-game, round-robin Big 12 Conference schedule with visits from NCAA Tournament teams Iowa State, Kansas, Oklahoma and Oklahoma State and NIT champion Baylor.

The department also announced ticket information for its contest with perennial power Gonzaga in the Wichita Wildcat Classic at INTRUST Bank Arena in Wichita on Saturday, December 21.

A variety of ticket packages, including the new Wildcat Victory Ticket Plan, are available with ticket prices remaining the same for the third consecutive season. In addition to its usual ticket offerings, there are also a limited number of Young Alumni packages priced at $200, which are available for all K-State undergraduate degree recipients in the past five years (May 2009 to May 2013). The Wildcat Victory Ticket Plan, available in limited quantities, is a new option for the 2013-14 season and includes all non-conference and all-midweek conference games (excluding Big Monday and the Kansas games) in general admission seating (sections 24-25) for only $169.

An Ahearn Fund contribution is required for all premium, chairback and cushioned seating. Specific required giving levels by section are listed at www.AhearnFund.com.

Season tickets will be available online at www.kstatesports.com/tickets starting Monday, June 24. Current season-ticket holders should receive their renewal invoices in the mail the week of June 24 and have until Friday, August 2 to arrange payment and retain their seats for the 2013-14 season. New ticket holders are also encouraged to purchase season tickets prior to the August 2 deadline. New full season-ticket requests will be handled utilizing the K-State Priority Points system which rewards fans for their history of season ticket purchases and contributions to the Ahearn Fund. All requests are based on seat availability and specific locations are not guaranteed.

There are also incentives for fans purchasing online before the Friday, July 12 early-bird deadline, including a commemorative Big 12 Championship coin and a $10 discount off the season processing fee. Early-bird renewals paid in full online using the e-check payment method will also receive an additional $15 savings off in the processing fee. Fans will also receive a code (one-time only use) for 10 percent off at the K-State Online Store and K-State Pix and will be enrolled in a prize drawing. These prizes include two courtside seats for a home non-conference game of their choosing, two tickets to the Wichita Wildcat Classic against Gonzaga at INTRUST Bank Arena and a 2013-14 autographed basketball.

Payment plans for season-ticket purchases by credit card are available, including a six-month payment option for fans purchasing tickets by July 12 and a five-month payment plan for those purchasing by August 2. Credit card payment plans can be coordinated through the online renewal applications at www.kstatesports.com, or by calling the Athletics Ticket Office for both renewal and new ticket accounts.

The Wildcats continue to possess one of the top home atmospheres in the country as Bramlage Coliseum has been sold out each of the past three seasons. K-State is one of just 13 schools nationally to draw more than 12,000 in paid attendance for every regular season home game over the last three seasons, a list which includes Kentucky, Syracuse, Louisville, North Carolina, Tennessee, Wisconsin, Kansas, Illinois, Michigan State, New Mexico, Vanderbilt and Creighton. The school has won more than 75 percent of its games in Bramlage Coliseum's 25-year history, including a record-tying 16 victories in 2012-13.

Led by 2013 Big 12 Coach of the Year Bruce Weber, Kansas State enjoyed one of its best men's basketball seasons in 2012-13, posting a 27-8 overall record and 14-4 mark in league play en route to their first-ever Big 12 regular season championship and a fourth consecutive trip to the NCAA Tournament. The 27 wins were the second-most in school history, while the 14 in league play tied the school record held by the 1958-59 team. The league championship was the 18th in school history and the first since the 1976-77 season.

Fans can purchase season tickets in a variety of ways, including toll free at (800) 221.CATS (2287), online at www.kstatesports.com/tickets and in-person at the Athletics Ticket Office located in Bramlage Coliseum.
