MANHATTAN, Kan. – Tickets for the highly-anticipated match-up between Kansas State and UNLV in the Hy-Vee Wildcat Classic at the Sprint Center will go sale to the general public at 10 a.m. CT, on Saturday, athletic officials announced today.
The contest, which pits K-State against Wildcat legend Lon Kruger and his Runnin’ Rebels, is set for 8 p.m. CT, Tuesday, Dec. 21 at the 18,897-seat arena. Tickets will go on sale Saturday morning through the athletic department’s website, www.kstatesports.com, as well as through all Ticketmaster outlets, by calling (800) 745.3000 or online at www.Ticketmaster.com. Fans can also order by phone through the K-State Athletic Ticket Office at (800) 221.CATS beginning Monday morning at 8:30 a.m. CT.
Tickets are priced at $40 for lower-level sideline seating, $30 behind the baskets and $20 in the upper level.
K-State season ticket holders who ordered tickets to the Hy-Vee Wildcat Classic with their renewals will have their seating locations assigned according to the K-State Priority Points system prior to tickets being put on sale to the public.
Information regarding ticket purchase procedures for K-State students will be announced at a later date.
The game marks the fourth consecutive year that the Wildcats will play a non-conference game at the Sprint Center, which will also host the Wildcats for the Championship Rounds of the 2010 O’Reilly Auto Parts CBE Classic, Nov. 22-23, and 2011 Phillips 66 Big 12 Championships, March 9-12.
The Wildcats will host “Madness in Manhattan” on Friday, Oct. 15 to tip off the start of basketball season.
