MANHATTAN, Kan. - Kansas State's men's basketball game with George Washington at 2 p.m. CT on New Year's Eve will be seen across various FSN platforms to Wildcat fans across the country.
The contest can be seen on its regular FOX Sports Kansas City/Midwest channels on DirecTV 671 and Dish 418.
The other clearances are FOX Sports West, Root Sports Northwest, FOX Sports Arizona, Root Sports Rocky Mountain, FOX Sports Indiana Plus, FOX Sports North, FOX Sports Oklahoma, FOX Sports Southwest, FOX Sports Wisconsin, FOX Sports Ohio, FOX Sports South and Sun Sports.
Ben Boyle (play-by-play) and Stan Weber (analyst) will call the action.
The Wildcats are currently riding a seven-game winning streak and six-game streak at Bramlage Coliseum, as they host surging George Washington (11-1), which enters tomorrow's match-up on a six-game winning streak including victories over Creighton, Rutgers and Maryland. The lone loss came to No. 25 Marquette at the Wooden Legacy on Nov. 29.
K-State, which ranks among the Top 10 nationally in scoring defense at 58.1 points per game, has held nine of its last 11 opponents to its season low in points, including 60 or less on six occasions. The team is one of the more balanced in the country with six different players leading the team in scoring, five in rebounding and seven in assists. Eight players have at least one double-figure scoring game, while three players - freshman Marcus Foster (13.7 ppg.), junior Thomas Gipson (11.4 ppg.) and senior Shane Southwell (10.7 ppg.) - average in double figures.
