JUNIOR COLLEGE: A one-year letterwinner at Butler Community College... Helped the Grizzlies win the Jayhawk Football Conference in 2007, as well as a Region VI Championship and a final No. 1 ranking by JCFootball.com... Caught nine passes for 132 yards - including a long of 44 - and two touchdowns.
HIGH SCHOOL: A three-year starter at quarterback and defensive back at Manhattan High School... Named first team all-league at quarterback and defensive back, and was a Class 6A first team all-state selection at defensive back as a junior in 2005... Earned first team all-league honors as a defensive back as a senior in 2006, as well as second team all-league honors at quarterback... Was a Class 6A honorable mention as both a quarterback and a defensive back as well.... Coached by Butch Albright... Also lettered two years in basketball and four years in track.
