Only allowed 24 punt returns for an average of 4.7 yards per opponent return... Longest punt of year was 65-yarder at Colorado (9/30)... Had career-high seven punts agaiinst Oklahoma (10/14)... Had a 58-yard punt against Iowa (8/26) in Eddie Robinson Classic... Finished with four kicks of 50 yards or more... Best average of season came with 45.2 yards on six attempts at Colorado (10/14)... Also had 45.0 averages vs. Iowa and Kansas (10/7).
1999 (Freshman) - Stepped in for injured place-kicker Jamie Rheem vs. UTEP in season's second game and made 1 of 2 field goals (36 yards) and all five PATs... Split punting duties with Mike Ronsick and had 21 punts for 36.4 average during the season... Three of his punts were 50+ yards, while eight were downed inside the 20-yard line... Averaged 47.7 yards on three punts vs. Utah State, including a 57-yarder into a strong wind... Booted career-long 58-yard punt in first game as a Wildcat vs. Temple on Sept. 11... Averaged 45.5 yards on two punts, including 55-yarder, in regular-season finale vs. Missouri.

Shawnee Mission West HS - Earned honorable mention All-Sunflower League honors as a sophomore, along with first-team honors as a kicker and second-team honors as a punter as a senior...
