An in-state walk-on who shined on special teams during his second year in the program... Will look to add more support on special teams and as a reserve linebacker as he continues his career.

2013 (Click Here for Game-by-Game Statistics): Saw time in the final 11 games of the year and came away with a team-best 11 special teams tackles, including 10 on kickoff coverage... Registered a career high three tackles in K-State's Buffalo Wild Wings Bowl victory, while he also had two stops against UMass, Baylor, West Virginia and Kansas.

2012: Redshirted.

HIGH SCHOOL: Lettered two years for the Beavers under head coach Glenn O'Neil... Led team to a combined 21-2 record, two league championships and one regional championship... Was a first team all-state defensive end in 2011 by the Kansas Football Coach Association, Topeka Capital-Journal and Wichita Eagle after totaling 87 tackles, including 24 for a loss of 102 yards... Was also named the Garden City Telegram Player of the Year and was a first team all-league pick on offense after totaling 1,242 rushing yards and 22 touchdowns... Also lettered in track where he won a state championship in the 4x100-meter relay.
