Wildcats open 2012 campaign on September 1 against Missouri State

A physical defensive back who will continue to provide depth in the secondary and make a push for more playing time.

2011: Recorded six tackles in 12 games, including two at Kansas.

2010: Played in 11 games as a backup and on special teams... Made two tackles against both UCLA and Missouri State, while recording one stop vs. Texas and Missouri... Also had a pass breakup against the Tigers.

2009: Played in 11 games, including a start against Missouri... Tallied one tackle in 4 different games.

HIGH SCHOOL: The 79th-best cornerback in the nation by Rivals... Started as a sophomore at Grand Prairie South, helping his team finish 10-2 to clinch the bi-district championship... Collected 44 tackles, seven sacks, two pass break ups and a forced fumble as a senior... Named the sophomore district defensive MVP in 2006, was an honorable mention all-district pick in 2007 and a first-team all-district selection in 2008.
