2001 (Junior) - Named 2002 LIFTER OF THE YEAR for spring work in weight room... Also earned the honor in Spring 2000... Saw action in eight games as a reserve fullback.... tallied one rush for six yards at Iowa State (11/3)... played in eight of the first nine games... did not see action vs. Louisiana Tech (11/17) and Missouri (11/24).

2000 (Sophomore) - Played in five games... Finished the season with two carries for 16 yards against Ball State (9/16) and one pass reception for five yards in the Big 12 Championship Game against Oklahoma (12/2)... Named the football squad's Lifter of the Year in the spring by the K-State strength and conditioning staff.

1999 (Freshman) - Saw action in four games, including a start against Missouri in regular season finale... Had one carry for four yards against Baylor.

1998 - Redshirt season... Earned the team's Overachiever Award for strength and conditioning following the season.

Personal - Born Aug. 28, 1979... Parents are Diana and John Hoheisel... Father, John, played football at Wichita State from 1968-71 and survived the plane crash that tragically took the lives of 14 members of the team and a total of 29 passengers in 1970...
